“Global BIM & Development” – One Belt One Road and BIM Workshop & Discussion Forum
Organized by Global BIM Centre of Excellence, “Global BIM & Development” – One Belt One Road and BIM Workshop & Discussion Forum is held on 23-27 February 2016 at Panda Hotel.
The “One Belt One Road” policy in its aim to promote connectivity clearly complements Mainland China’s going out strategy and supports the export of Chinese infrastructure on a grand scale. As of last year, preliminary results were achieved. An implementation plan was also conducted by the country and engaged in active communication and negotiation with relevant countries. After one-year deployment, the policy has begun to move towards the stage of pragmatic cooperation, which has generated huge market opportunities in. In order to further facilitate the progress and promote the new concept, it requires to build strong awareness of the concept from the public, generate great exposure to the professions, media and public, and connect tightly with industry members to facilitate communication and interaction, and being equipped with and supported by BIM Technology.
Mr. David Fung, Chairman of HKIBIM and Managing Director of A.C.I.D., was one of the speakers of the Forum sharing his experience and knowledge in BIM. His presentation topic was “BIM Exporting in One Belt One Road?”
